The plan is available for U.S. residents who are at least 14 days of age and younger than 65 years. You can buy up to 364 days of coverage for international travel.

Please note that residents of Colorado, Maryland, New York, South Dakota, and Washington cannot buy this plan.

Backpacker Travel Insurance covers travel to most destinations. We cannot cover trips to Antarctica, Cuba, Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea), Islamic Republic of Iran, Israel, Russian Federation, Syrian Arab Republic, and Ukraine.
